Tour de France 2025 stage 16 Last Km
You will NOT believe the drama that went down in the Tour de France today! 🚴♂️💨
A Hometown Hero on the “Giant of Provence”!
So, get this: Stage 16 was the legendary climb up Mont Ventoux, which is basically a beast of a mountain. Everyone was on the edge of their seats, and a French rider, Valentin Paret-Peintre, totally stole the show! It was an absolutely epic win for the home crowd—their first of the entire tour!
He was in a breakaway group, and it all came down to a nail-biting sprint to the finish line. He just barely edged out Ben Healy. Seriously, it was one of those heart-pounding moments! So stoked for him and the Soudal Quick-Step team.
The Pogačar and Vingegaard Saga Continues…
Meanwhile, the battle between the big guns, Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard, was pure fireworks. Vingegaard was on fire, attacking Pogačar four times trying to shake him on that monster climb. But Pogačar was like a shadow; he just wouldn’t crack!
In the end, Pogačar, our guy in the yellow jersey, actually managed to gain a couple more seconds on Vingegaard. It wasn’t a huge gap, but it just goes to show how insanely strong he is. The dude is just on another level right now.
So, Pogačar is still comfortably in the lead, but Vingegaard is definitely not giving up without a fight. This is what makes the Tour so awesome to watch! Can’t wait to see what kind of craziness goes down in the next stage. Stay tuned! 😉
